I suspect they always were, but was not around 30 years ago to judge. I guess it was a simpler time, I mean, the age of the television. I am just concerned because as the television age is ending, with people more interested in interactive entertainment, sports still seems to be growing. There seems to be no end to those that would devote large percentages of their time and thought to nonsense elevated to spectacular heights within our culture. And drag their kids along too. I hope more people come to the conclusion you did, and don't end up like that poor Utahian, remembering nonsense that everyone's forgotten as if it ever matter. Yeah, sports are totally retarded.
